Whereas we intent to take the above containers by road from ICD, New Delhi premises to our factory/warehouse at …………………………………………………………………...

 

We undertake to bear the entire cost of transportation and handling charges for the said container from time of lifting from ICD premises till the time of delivery to the area designated by you. In this connection all formalities with customs port authorities etc. will be our responsibility and all cost there of will be borne by us.

 

We hereby undertake to redeliver the containers to you as above within FIVE days of lifting the containers from the ICD. We also undertake to ensure that utmost care is taken by us safe transit, handling and redelivery by you for the containers and will settle such amounts as may be assessed by the surveyors deputed by you for damage to the containers while in our custody.

 

We undertake to pay a sum of Rs2, 50,000/- (Rupees Two Lacs Fifty Thousand Only) per 20` container and Rs.5, 00,000/- (Rupees Five Lacs Only) per 40` container which includes the value of the container and customs levy payable by you on demand in case we fail to return the container with in the requisite time limit or due to loss to the container.

 

The empty container will be returned to your nominated site ICD, Delhi and necessary receipt will be obtained by us and forward to you immediately.

We undertake to clear all outstanding charges prior to submission of receipts at your Head Office for cancellation of this guarantee.

 

Those containers/cargo, which are noticed as damaged at the time of removal/physical delivery from ICD are to be intimated to CONCOR/CWC. In writing and such containers/cargo are to be removed only after a joint survey at ICD. Any claim for the damages for the containers/cargo will be settled only on the basis of the joint survey reports prepared at ICD.

 

Any claim against damage to the container during our custody we will settle as per the survey report of gate in and will be on the basis of repair estimate given by Anchor Container Enterprises.
